Today, I swapped the light green moss stitch scarf I made for my friend Clare for Christmas for the variegated brown one I finished yesterday. It gives her a bit more wiggle room in the neck area and I am happy to wear the green one instead.

Yes, the older I get, the quicker time gets away from me. The other day, someone I work with celebrated his 5th year at our company. I'm still thinking of him as "new" here! Sheesh. Getting ready to experience an extreme cold-snap here in New England, I am comforting myself with L'AP Tea for Two. Discovered it only recently but liking it quite a lot. Have a great day!

I totally agree with your re: time - I was thinking just today when I was talking w/my son about his recent trip to NYC how long ago it has been since the two of us went to NYC together to celebrate my 40th birthday, which was THIRTEEN years ago! Happy anniversary! We have a below zero wind chill right now and tomorrow is supposed to be brutally cold so I'm staying inside with a nice cup of tea. I can't get too cozy though because there's housework to do. I'm also debating buying a bottle of something to take advantage of that Penny Lane discount. It's so tempting...

DeleteI said I wouldn't buy anything for a while but I could not resist that discount so I got a bottle of Heeley Cardinal which may be the most expensive perfume for me to date. I had Christmas money from mom though so its more like a gift.

Well I get up and drink coffee, feed my dogs let them outside to do their buisness and the dogs next door come over and run them up & down the fence then I make them come back in. My days are pretty much the same as I am a recluse.
