Kenzo Jungle "L'Elephant"

- Sample from theperfumedcourt
- four stars "clove plum" LT/TS
- perfumer Dominique Ropion

The first blast of citrus and spice, and then a wonderful warmth (caraway? licorice?)  I would definitely purchase of bottle of this perfume - it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

top note:  mandarin, cardamon, cloves
mid: caraway, mango, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, licorice
base: patchouli, vanilla, amber

  1. I was shocked by how much I liked this. I hate Opium, I mean hate HATE it, would rather chew tinfoil than wear it (or smell it in the elevator). Gah. It kills me.

    But this! It made me happy. I have a couple of samples, and I think that's probably a lifetime supply for me, but I'll wear L'Elephant a drop at a time, in really freezing weather.

  2. hehee! You know, I wore Opium all the time in the very early 80s. And I was reticent to buy another bottle - but recently I did, and wearing it very lightly, I still love it. But I am so turn off by Obsession - yuck yuck yuck!!!

    L'Elephant is definitely something I want more of than my tiny little sample.
